This file describes the anomalies present in the images which make up
Volume 13 of the "Voyagers to the Outer Planets" collection.  In the
FDS count range of Volume 13, 14604.13 through 15423.20, several classes
of anomalies are found.  Each is described below with a list of the
FDS counts of the images falling into each class.


PLANNED BUT NOT RECEIVED
------------------------
These FDS counts were part of planned observations and may be found in
descriptions of Voyager sequences.  However, the images were not received at
the Voyager Ground Data System.  The losses are probably entirely due either
to adverse weather or mechanical problems at the receiving station.

This FDS count was received at the Voyager Ground Data System.  However, it
was not permanently archived and the preliminary archive magnetic tape
containing the image has been lost.  The search for the image will continue.
If the image is found, it will be placed on the last CD-ROM volume.

RESTORED FROM PROCESSED DATA

These FDS counts were received at the Voyager Ground Data System.  However,
they were not permanently archived and the preliminary archive magnetic tape
containing the images has been lost.  Prior to the loss of the tape, these
FDS counts were radiometrically corrected.  In order to archive these FDS
counts in this collection, the corrected files have been further processed
to approximate the dynamic range of the lost raw data.  In addition, the
Engineering Table and the Line Suffix bytes have been partially restored.
