  - On VG_0025, the presence of the ERRATA.TXT, CUMANOM.TXT,
    CUMINDEX.TAB, and CUMINDEX.LBL files on the CD is not mentioned.
    This was corrected on VG_0026 and later discs.
  - In the sixth paragraph, "The file, VOLDESC.SFD, contains" should
    read "The file VOLDESC.SFD contains".  Fixed on VG_0026 and later
    discs. 
  - On VG_0026 - VG_0028, the seventh paragraph of the AAREADME.TXT
    file indicates that the ERRATA.TXT file on volumes VG_0025 and
    VG_0038 is located in the [DOCUMENT] directory, rather than the
    top level directory of the CDs.  This was corrected on VG_0029.
  - In the eighth paragraph, a comma should be inserted between "file"
    and "CUMINDEX.TAB".
  - In the eleventh paragraph, the sentence "For this volume, there
    are six such frames." should be deleted.  Corrected on VG_0027 and
    later CDs.

Data Range: 32499.21 - 33562.53

The engineering header does not contain a valid number for the
Spacecraft Event Time (IMAGETIME) for image 33234.19.  The value was
recorded as "UNKNOWN" in the imgindex.tab file, but has been updated
to "1980-09-17T00:00:34Z" in the cumindex.tab file on volume VG_0038.

In the "anomaly.txt" file, the final number listed in the "Planned But
Not Received" category, 33403.51, is incorrect; it should be 33503.51.
The correct value is listed in the "cumanom.txt" file on VG_0038.

Data Range: 33562.55 - 34476.28

Due to missing key portions of the telemetry, the following files were
originally labeled with the wrong FDS count.  The correct FDS count
has been restored in the filename, but the internal telemetry data and
the PDS labels have not been altered.  The "imgindex.tab" file on the
CD contains the correct FDS count in the IMAGE_NUMBER field, but the
incorrect filenames in the IMAGE_FILE_NAME and BROWSE_FILE_NAME
fields.  These latter two values have been corrected in the
"cumindex.tab" file on VG_0038.  The correct and incorrect FDS counts,
respectively, are listed below:

Name (SCNAME), Picture Number (IMAGEID), Spacecraft Event Time
(IMAGETIME), and Earth Received Time (EARTHRCDTM) for the following
image.  Where possible, the correct values are listed in the
IMGINDEX.TAB and CUMINDEX.TAB files.  However, all values should be
treated with skepticism.

caught before this volume was created, so the FDS count was not
corrected in the filename, the PDS label, or the "imgindex.tab"
file.  Due to the incorrect name, the correct FDS count was
listed in the "anomaly.txt" file as "Received But Since Lost".
A correctly named version of the file has been included in the
[FOUND] directory on VG_0033, and the "cumindex.tab" file on VG_0038
has been updated.

For this file, there are two entries in the cumindex.tab on
VG_0038.  The first entry is for the correct FDS count, and points to
the correctly named file on volume 33; the second entry is for the
original, incorrectly named file present on this volume.  The correct
and incorrect FDS counts, respectively, are listed below:

contain a portion of what should be a single image with the FDS count

the complete image on volume 33.  The entry pointing to the partial

labels.  The values were corrected to "3:5" in the IMGINDEX.TAB and

The following images were listed in the "anomaly.txt" file in the
section "Corrupted Engineering Tables".  With the exception of
43320.28, 43320.32, and the images in the range 43319.53 through
43362.38 were also listed in the section "Received But Since
Corrupted".  The images in this range have been replaced by
uncorrupted versions in the [FOUND] directory on volume 38, and the
values for those images have been updated in the cumulative index
table.  They have been removed from the above mentioned sections of
the cumulative anomaly file on VG_0038.  (The image 43320.28 was not
included in the "Received But Since Corrupted section because the
original image had a bad FDS count.  It is not clear at this time why
the image 43320.32 was not included in this section.)

All of these files have corrupted (but recoverable) IMAGE_IDs (the
spacecraft identifier is missing).  In the first set of images, where
replacement images were available, it was determined that four of the
original images had IMAGE_TIME values and eleven had
EARTH_RECEIVED_TIME values that were low by roughly 17 seconds.  (All
images in the original set whose IMAGE_TIME ended in :07 had values
ending in :24 in the corrected images.  There was no simple pattern to
the EARTH_RECEIVED_TIME anomalies, although values ending in :05 to
:06 and :40 to :42 tended to be low by 16 or 17 seconds.)  Similar
patterns should be expected in the second set of images.  There is one
image in the set, 43320.28, that also had some other bad values,
including a bad FDS count.  That image is further discussed elsewhere.

has been updated accordingly.

The image 43945.55 became corrupted sometime between being archived on
VG_0005 and being re-archived on VG_0037.  The corrupted image could
not be recovered for the latter volume.  The original image from
VG_0005 has been recovered and placed in the [FOUND] directory on
VG_0038.  However, the formatting of the PDS label contains some
errors, consistent with those present in other images on volume
VG_0005.

The image 44013.34 became corrupted sometime after being received on
the ground and could not be recovered.

The image 44158.50 was incorrectly listed in the "anomaly.txt" file
under "Corrupted Engineering Headers".  The image was outside the
range of data for this CD and should have been listed under "Received
But Since Corrupted" for VG_0038.
