       CATALOG Directory Contents

The CATALOG directory contains catalog files which are required by PDS. 
These ASCII text files in the CATALOG directory provide a top-level 
understanding of the Juno mission, spacecraft, instruments, and Stellar 
Reference Unit (SRU) data sets in this archive, in the form 
of completed PDS templates.

For the latest version of these files, please consult the Planetary Data

The following files are found in this directory:

CATINFO.TXT               (This file) A description of the contents 
                          of the CATALOG directory

INSTHOST.CAT              This file describes the Juno spacecraft
                          (instrument host) that carried the
                          instrument. (Supplied by Juno Project)

MISSION.CAT               This file provides a brief description
                          of the Juno mission. It includes a
                          chronology of events, a definition of
                          mission phases, and the mission
                          objectives. (Supplied by Juno Project)

PROJREF.CAT               This file lists general, mission-wide 
                          citations for works cited in these catalog 
                          files. (Supplied by Juno Project)
                          
SRU_COUNTRATE_TABLE_DS.CAT    This file contains a PDS data set catalog 
                          description of the Juno SRU count rate table data 
                          set.
                          The tables are considered Level 5 or
                          Derived Data (equivalent to NASA Level 1C)
                          Count rate tables are derived from SRU EDR
                          images.
                          
SRU_EDR_IMG_DS.CAT        PDS data set catalog description of the 
                          SRU EDR image data set.
                          The EDRs are considered Level 2 or
                          Edited Data (equivalent to NASA
                          Level 0). EDRs are reconstructed
                          from Level 1 or Raw Data.

SRU_INST.CAT              This file describes the Juno Stellar Reference 
                          Unit (SRU) and its scientific objectives.

SRU_PERSON.CAT            PDS personnel catalog description of SRU 
                          team members and other persons involved with 
                          generation of SRU standard data products


SRU_REF.CAT               This file lists bibliographic citations,
                          specifically for the Stellar Reference Unit (SRU) 
                          for works cited in these catalog files.
