       CATALOG Directory Contents

The CATALOG directory contains catalog files which are required by PDS.
These ASCII text files provide high-level information about the
Juno mission, spacecraft (instrument host), instrument(s), references,
and data sets in this archive.  The catalog files in this directory
are updated as more precise information becomes available.  For the
latest version of these files, please consult the Planetary Data System
Data Set Catalog available on the PDS web site at:

       http://pds.jpl.nasa.gov/

The following files are found in this directory:

CATINFO.TXT               this file

JNC_EDR_IMG_DS.CAT        This file contains data set objects
                          for the Juno JunoCam image products.
                          The EDRs are considered Level 2 or
                          Edited Data (equivalent to NASA
                          Level 0). EDRs are reconstructed
                          from Level 1 or Raw Data.

JNC_RDR_IMG_DS.CAT        This file contains data set objects
                          for the Juno JunoCam image products.
                          The RDRs are considered Level 3 or
                          Calibrated. RDRs are created from EDR
                          images and contain irreversibly
                          transformed data due to the nature
                          of JPEG decompression.

JNC_INST.CAT              This file describes the Juno JunoCam
                          instrument and its scientific
                          objectives.

JNC_PERSON.CAT            This file lists the Systems Engineer
                          for the JunoCam instrument.

JNC_REF.CAT               This file lists bibliographic citations,
                          specifically for JunoCam, for works
                          cited in these catalog files.

JUNO_INSTHOST.CAT         This file describes the Juno spacecraft
                          (instrument host) that carried the
                          instrument.

JUNO_MISSION.CAT          This file provides a brief description
                          of the Juno mission. It includes a
                          chronology of events, a definition of
                          mission phases, and the mission
                          objectives.

JUNO_REF.CAT              This file lists general, mission-wide,
                          bibliographic citations for works cited
                          in these catalog files.
