The images available through this browser are raw images ("Experiment Data Records"); no processing has been done to them. Therefore, they will quite often contain missing lines, or appear too bright or too dark to see.
After these images were processed, a number of higher level products were made from them. (For example, the four images which make up the image maps used in this browser are Viking Lander high resolution mosaics, made up of processed data.) These mosaics and others like them, as well as other processed data, will be made available online in the future.
