The EXTRAS directory contains documentation regarding the M3 instrument
detector temperature for each M3 image acquisition as well as a brief
description of each optical imaging period.

/BAD_DETECTOR_ELEMENT subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing bad detector element maps
(M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_BDE.IMG) and corresponding header file 
(M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_BDE.HDR).

/BROWSE subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing a single-band albedo JPEG image 
(M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_VNN_QL_BNNN.JPG) and a single-band thermal JPEG image 
(M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_VNN_QL_BNNN.JPG) for each M3 radiance image cube.

/EARTH_VIEW_IMAGE subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing the global mode earth-view observation as
acquired on 22 July 2009. This image was acquired by pointing 
Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft in the Earth direction and then sweeping the M3 
pushbroom field-of-view across the Earth with a spacecraft pitch maneuver. 
This image includes the Western Pacific region of the Earth and was acquired 
coincident with a solar eclipse in the center of the image.

/FLAT_FIELD subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing image-based flat field images with 
cross-track low frequency preserved (M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_FF.IMG) and 
corresponding header file (M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_FF.IMG.HDR). The Laboratory 
based flat field image (M3MYYYYMMDD_LABFF.IMG) and corresponding header 
(M3MYYYYMMDD_LABFF.HDR) are also contained in this subdirectory.

/LOGS subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing data lost to poor compression 
or complete packet loss are noted in the M3MYYYYMMDDHHMMSS_L0_VNN.LOG files.

/M3_TUTORIALS subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing tutorials for using M3 data products.

/PUBLICATIONS subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing relevant M3 publications.

/SSCADJ subdirectory:
Subdirectory of EXTRAS containing smooth shape correction files.
